My (girlfriend/wife/partner) of 2/3/4 years really annoys/frustrates/gets on my nerves me with her constant nagging/weird habits/obsessive behavior. She's always complaining/picking at me/making demands about the littlest things. For example, last night she started yelling/got really mad/threw a fit because I left the dishes in the sink/didn't take out the trash/ate the last slice of pizza. I told her to calm down/get over it/chill out, but she just wouldn't stop. I finally went to bed/told her to leave me alone/just ignored her and she cried/threw a tantrum/gave me the silent treatment all morning. Am I the jerk/a-hole/bad guy here for standing up for myself/not listening to her/telling her to relax?
I don't know what to do anymore. I love her, but this is getting too much/really stressful.
